I can't remember if I posted on this thread or not as yet, and just don't want to take the energy to check ... heck, I may have done it 3 or 4 times by now ... anyway, I'll be 60 in a couple of weeks. The body aches, the head hurts, and the feet are pained as well; but hey, I'm still breathing and can at least roll out of bed so there is still hope.
I have one "almost working" '96 Savage and a "parts bike" '87 Savage and enough spare parts in the shed on the shelf and/or in boxes to scratch together another runner.
All that considered, life is good. Besides, grandchildren keep popping out right and left and they really make life worth living & the heart all warm and fuzzy.
Like they said in an old movie: "darn the torpedoes, full speed ahead", or in Savage-speak ... "what torpedoes ? Just hit the starter button and lets ride!"
