Handlebar position

Anyone with stock buckhorns ever rotated them up a little higher?
Im thinking it may be a little more comfortable, any reason Not to try that besides the alignment marks not aligning?

That's what I did until I got my 10 inch miniapes. But it wasn't very comfortable, as you raise the angle of the bars, the angle of your wrists change as well.

Did exactly that (rotated buckhorns forward, raising the grips about an inch or so) on my original '03 Savage ... made a WORLD of difference for both comfort and handling (for me anyways; found the stock position tended to tuck my elbows in too much) ... had to loosen & rotate the mirror mounts a bit to re-align 'em, but that was no biggie.
Go for it!

Heck I've done that even with the stock drag bars. Making a bike fit you makes way more sense than you fitting the bike.

Thanks for the head-up on the alignment marks. I've been wondering if mine were right after a little incident. They were low. I put them back plus a little higher.
