Almost got a ticket (formally Finally)

Finally able to order the cam kit for my van today, so I should be able to put it back together soon. Cutting it close too, winter is almost here and soon I won't be able to ride the FireLizard back and forth to work because of the weather. I work 12 hour shifts 1700 to 0500 and it gets cccooollllldddddd in the mornings having to ride 25 miles home after work.

I installed a high torque cam in my van & improved MPG & performance.. why they dont put them in pickups & vans from the factory, IDK,, kinda silly IMO.

Got the rest of the gaskets I needed. Now I can start putting my van back together, once I get the time. Every time I think I have the time to do it something else happens that requires my attention. Yesterday it was my daughter's room needing some repair attention, and today the drain for the washing machine broke so I had to repair it. Maybe tomorrow I will actually be able to work on the van.

WTF, I am BARELY here any more because of this nuts. crappity smacking censorship on a friendly forum. We aren't 12. And if you dare try sticking me in a corner I'll crappity smack you up so bad you wish your parents never met.

BTW, not that anyone cares, but I'll lay it out like this. I am completely unable to censor myself. So, if ya ever have a problem with my posts, don't bother emailing me or whining, just ban me. Cuz I say what I want to say..and that's it.

Yonuh, good luck with the van. I had no idea it got cold in New Mexico. We just closed our pool last week..during the first snowfall. Seems life just rolls by so fast, sometimes it is hard to keep up. Peace, bro.

I decided what the he11, if folks don't like it they ain't got to read it. So here is another van update:

Been cleaning up my parts before I put the engine back together. Now that is rather a chore. Got the heads, oil pan, valve covers, and timing cover cleaned but ran out of light before I could finish cleaning the intake. Used compressed air to blow out the passages of everything and meticulously cleaned all the mating surfaces. Tomorrow I'll finish up cleaning the intake then attack cleaning the block.

Then once all the parts are clean, I will be putting the engine back together.
