just got legal today, what a racket two hundered bucks for a "doctors" visit to get the permit. i'm still on my own in the procurement department. i can stick some seeds in the ground at the farm.

They serve burgers in here?  I'd sure like a big juicy one.  And a cold brew to go with it, pleeezzzeeee?  

But let's start with a hot toddy first, its dang cold outside, and this snow is making me crazy.

Most of my adult life I usually work christmas  and new years eve,
Bartending, chauffeur, waiter.
Most places give you one or the other off,but I always volenteered to work, big money nights. And I never really cared for Christmas,
Way to commercialized for my liking. well you all know the other reason.

Our traditions have been that I do the tree and Hubby does the lights and other outside decorations.
Usually we both cook as I am working and trying to rest so I can go back to work that night.
This year being I am still not back to work, were having his twin brother, g/f and their lil dog come to visit. They will be here Christams Eve afternoon and go back Christmas Day.
I will be baking a Turkey as well as a Ham. I will also make a corn bread dressing like my Mom makes. This is a dressing recipe that has been in the family since before I was born. It really is good..
Then I also make my own croutons for a bread dressing.
Plus the usual side dishes, so we will all have full tummies.
Gift exchanges yet no credit card expenses. I have never been one that thought you should go beyond your budget just because it is Christmas.
I am hoping hubby and I can take the bikes out for a ride after company leaves or else the following day.

Talking about food, did you hear about the suit against McD's?
Toys are an unfair commercial ploy for kids?  Next they'll say they can't have wifi cause it draws in teenagers.
