Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

I keep one of these in the saddle bags. Good for the helmet, leather jacket or many other things.

Yeah then one day you go to lock your helmet on and its GONE. Mine and His have both fallen off.
Same thing happen to mine. Get off and turn around one day and it's just not there.

6' vinyl coverd steel cable that locks on itself, just have to wrap it through the forks or a frame member. Plenty long enough for helmet and jacket sleeve.
Available on line or at Office Depot.
