I didn't even count all the wagons I saw at that hoe down. Just parked in the middle of a bunch and took pictures. Some kind of Memorial Day hootenanny going on in Bandera.

Even though my Savage is now running it's still one gasket short of being roadworthy. So even though I ride over a drawbridge every time I ride to work I couldn't shoot it with the Savage. But imagine my surprise to see the old glass insulators on the poles in front of my neighbor's house. I had to dig out my binoculars to confirm they were really glass.

I have the same ones as you out side my front door.

Reply #382 - 06/01/10 at 12:11:27 I actually have a small collection of the colored glass insulators As I mentioned, I used binoculars to get a look at the insulators on the pole and they appear to be uncolored translucent glass. Still, no big deal if that's not what was meant.
