OK, this probably shouldn't count because it was in July, and while my first attempt was on the bike, I didn't get to see the snow until I went back with the Xterra a few days later.

Starting out from the Leadville side of Mosquito Pass:

I got about this far:

But turned back:

A few days later I took Mrs. Doc and the Xterra over the pass from the Alma side:

And sure enough, you could see snow at the crest:
