Way way too much time in that design for just a pizza cutter. Imagine....someone got paid a lot of money to come up with that futuristic looking thing that doesnt do its intended job any better than a standard plain old pizza cutter. And wtf does a pizza cutter need with any sort of springs?

it must be self sharpening, as for me I just use a sharp knife  put it on a plate and use a knife and fork to eat the bloody thing a once a year habit. I hate garlic.

Looks like it would be hard to use. If I was gonna buil;d one, the cutter would trail the hand.I think it would be easier to make the cut & easier to make it straight.

Pampered Chef makes the best pizza cutter.  Sharp!  And it comes with its own plastic sleeve.  In my house, the pizza cutter gets used, then immediately washed, dried, and returned to its sleeve, and back in the drawer it goes.  Still under $10!  And I've had it for ages.

Yes, I am anal about some things, and this is one of them!  Use it, wash it, dry it, put it away!!  (Same thing goes for the ice cream scooper! LOL)

That first one is pretty cool looking though...  Wink

Babyhog, I could sure learn a lot from you.  The only thing I wash and dry immediately after use is, well..would probably get caught in the profanity filter.   Huh

Heh, yeah, I think even I picked up on that one. Grin

I have a nice pizza cutter, I think we picked it up at a pizza joint years ago, but I never use it.  Like Mick, I mostly just use a knife; they're easier to clean. Tongue

These are pretty cool looking. However I am like most in the forum I use a knife. Not just any old knife though. The knife I use has a wide blade, wood handle and is approx 10" in length. It gets used, washed by hand, dried and placed back in it's plastic sleeve as well.  Wink
