Different strokes for different folks, right?

I've got a project 1957 Harley barhopper (some would say bobber, and they would be wrong) Panhead I'm resto-modding.

I've got a Honda project cafe racer meets dirt tracker, AND belong to the Do The Ton cafe racer forums.

And I have Pokey, my 98 Savage turned I'm not sure what to call it with full rear (and soon to have full front) fender, small saddlebags, apehangers, small fuel tank older than the bike (or me to be honest), Bates/Lucas style sidemount headlight...

I really like the Triumph with springer front end. Compact, lighter weight, hardtail conversion for lower center of gravity and better handling, thick solo seat and springs for a bit of padding... Add a better rear fender and some kind of front spray skirt and ride the bejeezuz out of that one. Perfect for the mountain roads around here.

At least the wannabes are moving on to fancy garbage barges (full dress HDs). Leaves real bikes for the rest of us.

And there is nothing wrong with that Honda (except the 2 extra cylinders, single or twins only for me, thank you very much).

I shall dip in my bag and see what comes out.

here is one of me on my little Ducati circa 1959.

and the origional Cafe racer, this bike was called thr "Boy racer" it's a 350 AJS it was later nick named the cafe racer, and it stuck to bikes with this general discription.
And the Ace cafe in London kept the the thing alive with juke box music.
you all know thay story I'm sure.

Diggin the BSA single. Not so much the twin (is that also BSA?). The AJS is nice but I think would look better with the same tank only in smaller dimensions. Im trying to talk one of my coworkers into making her cm400 into a cafe racer.

About the only thing that keeps these from being a bobber is the seats. Other than that they have different bars, powder coated/painted parts and have been slimmed down for weight. HMMMMM.
