Bikes that big otta come with an electrically operated jack to poke in a receiver to pick it up with, or hey, why not just have it mounted somewhere about midway, running across & make it able to extend to either side? Wouldnt have to get it all the way up, just far enough so some regular person could finish it w/o getting a double hernia.

The Rouge (V2K, VN2000) is the only current production twin I find remotely comfortable. Suffers from too low of handlebars. And the seat sucks.

I find modern Harleys cramped. Most Yammerhammers are too ugly for consideration, Suzuki twins have the most hideous fenders ever conceived. Kawasaki killed off their best twins (800 and 1500 Vulcans and Drifters).

I like my dinky little Savage, but it has taken a lot of mods to make it ridable and improve its factory shortcomings. Micro-bars and a whipped concrete seat didn't cut it for long... neither do pseudo-fenders, lobster eye signals, plastic headlight bucket that snaps off if your tool roll bounces onto it... One more respray and another muffler swap and Azrael (Pokey's new name, Angel of Death) should be just right.
