BP boss 'will resign within 24 hours' as oil firm
expected to announce £6.5bn profits despite spill.

Although BP is still under fire from President Barack Obama and U.S.
Senators, the firm appears to have turned a corner after stemming the leak.

In spite of the leak, which has so far cost the firm £2 - and facing a
further £13billion bill - BP is expected to announce profits of nearly
£6.5 so far this year.
