IQ tests cannot be trusted because they do not
reflect the individuals emotional intelligence nor the
persons ability to deal with real life problems, on top
of this all scores go through "the bell curve" when
making mass scale statistics distorting results even more.
...however, since we don't have a better tool to measure
intelligence we must use it and therefore accept the fact
that
global IQ scores are going DOWN the drain.
Due to a bad diet, bad genes, tv, chemicals, environmental
factors or whatever, the fact remains that most grownups
cannot do simple 2nd grade math in their heads and are
incapable of having a single original thought that they
did not hear somewhere else first.
This is NO accident and the reason is quite simple: people with
less skills will labor more, earn less, buy on impulse, always
wanting more and therefore generating the most interests by
acquiring everything on credit and being in debt for life, all of
this also makes their behavior more predictable and controllable.
Your point, if any, stimpy?! My point, right, er, my point is
that we might as well have fun with the demise of our species

I like a lot the movie "Office space", to me, it's a great parable
of what it means to be a part of any given workforce at the turn
of the century showing that we still haven't got it quite right, so
without further ado I give you Idiocracy, Mike Judge's "new" film:
Trailer (2006).
2 minutes of the beginning of the film.
