Just got back from Vernal Utah a couple of days ago, 995 miles each way, my little Miata ran like a swiss watch,had the top down for a while and got burnt to a crisp, I look like Rudolph or a drunk,my nose looks like a strawberry.
Got lucky on the way home, I stopped at the "Oregon Trail Motel" just a half block away was a very nice saloon /sports bar, forget the name ,but it's the only one around,the bartenders name is Kate she is on the day shift,after she got off another little beauty came on but I didn't hit on her because they didn't close until 2am,and I would not be able to keep up. Because of the no smoking law that went into efect recently buisiness has been in the toilet,the few customers that were there had to be outside most of the time smoking there cigarettes.
Advantage Mick,the non smoker. Long story short I slipped a note to Kate ,it said "Jack danials" Smirnoff Vodka" OJ, coke, 7 up.
room 19 up until midnight, low and behold a knock at the door at 10:30 pm.
I don't want to bore you with the delishious details,but it was a very nice end to my summer vacation.
