I like simple bikes like the 'new' sr400 yamaha (front),
they're nice and elegant, and have the potential to easily
become a classic bobber, a travel cruiser or an aggressive
scrambrer in a flash. About the savage on top, nice-clean
work, must be great for the forest and backroading.

A shame they dont have the SRs in the states. i've been lusting after a Sr500 but nothing local or on ebay usually. Parts would probably be an issue even if i did find one, though they are popular in the rest of the world.

A really nice looking bike, dare I sugest that the said bike shown is in a trials dress, Had it been a scrambler the tires would be knobbly's, the front fender would be high off the wheel. It would only take 15 minutes to change it to a scrambler. It would make an ideal mount for the international six days trial ,usually held in Scotland.
