12Bravo, i carry an eyeglass cleaner kit from wal-mart in my jacket for a good visor cleaning. Bandana in my left front pocket to remove the 'squishies' on the fly. Bugs were'nt to bad here last night. Guess most were at the Pool...lol

WBM, i got to redo my fricken speedo again. Its starting that annoying lil rattle again. Weatherstripping seems to be holding up well in my headlight though.

I think i may try one of the vests. And it will be UNDER my jacket. This boy dont ride without . Ive hit the pavement at 70 mph(driver side door popped open on the old truck i drove. Yes 'I' was driveing...lol)
I dont even ride the quad on the road to the front of the farm without a jacket. Road rash sucks MAJORLY. Sweat will dry.

They reccomend useing a mesh jacket but right now all ive got it a denim jacket and leather jacket. I will eventualy get a mesh, after i get a modular helmet...lol

Those Kool-Breeze neck wraps do work pretty good though, tried one today. Kinda weeps down your back a tiny bit which helps and cools your blood as it runs through your neck.
Walking around the yard in 101 degree heat they dont help a lot, but on the bike it makes a differance.
I think those vests from the first site ought to work pretty decent.
That or i may break out the needle and thread and make one myself with pockets for those lil frozen lunchbox packets from wally world.
Heat warning is extended through the end of the week now.

With the amount or lack of material used in swimsuits and halter tops these days a jogging bra is almost consided over dressing. I would'nt worry about bandaids, id just let them headlights shine...lol

I wore one of the neck wraps the other day, heat was about 101, humidity was high as it has been lately. I did'nt pat the wrap as dry as they reccomended. Wore it with my denim jacket(light as ill ride) and between the cooling effect and the slight dribble down my back i was quite comfortable....as long as i was moveing.
Forgot it today on a quick run and like to of burned up.
But im a lil extra sensitive to the heat lately after i overdid it in the garden a few days ago.
It dont rain soon im going to have to let most of one garden go, lose all my corn. Topsoil has absolutely no moisture at all. Baked to dust.

Got some material left over from a turkey vest i made awhile back. Thinking of makeing another with about 4 pockets on the front and two over the kidneys on the back. Put them lil frozen 4x6 lunchbox freezer packs in them.

Great, they just extended the heat advisories into the weekend now. Been over a 100 here for the last 5 days with miserable humidity.

Used to play a round or two myself till i screwed my back up. Between my back ribs n shoulders i pretty much had to give up golf, Tennis, bowling, softball n baseball.
Ole Tiger dont pull his head out of his arse he's a going to have to give up golf to. Did'nt do so well in his last tourney. Something like 18 over par...lol

With this heat i kinda felt like the wicked witch of the west from OZ last light.
