Fuel in oil.... wtf

I think i know why i been having problems with the savage this year Shocked

I got it runnin tonight and it was running fine until it got up to working temperature, then it begun running realy bad Embarrassed

When i got home i took a look at the oil indicator which i havent done this year... stupid me... but the last thing i did before winter was changing oil and it does not drip any oil....
Has this happend to anyone else than me ?
I hope that the engine hvent taken any damage.

Was your oil to high or to low?

It was way to high !
Changed oil and filter today, and the engine turned over right away

Checked the petcock and it seemed allright.
