I had breakfast at home, stopped to top up gas in Gardena, ride 20 miles to Seal Beach. I arrive to the Jack-in-the-Box, just barely shut down as I hear a Thumper -- Verslagen. We arrive within a half minute. They don't have the senior coffee again, curses! I get my coffee. Verslagen eats breakfast, needed gas the next block for gas.

Ride south on the Pacific Coast Highway, heavy traffic, cages and bikes. Get to Dana Point, inland up to San Juan Capistrano, stop at the second checkmark. Get to see the first accident in the other message.

CA-74, Ortega Highway, a little jaunt a 23 mile up the hill and 5 miles down. See the second accident about 15-20 miles going up. Like I said, not good.

We crest the mountain, stop for the Vista Point. I always love the stop.

Down to the flatland, a little beind schedule, my stomach alarm rang. I was ready for lunch when we arrived to the Rainbow Restaurant. Stop the a lot of bikes, V-Twins, just the pair of Thumpers:

Just to Babyhog(?) -- The Bar. Not for me. I am willing to drive after had a drink. I will not drive a bike after had a drink

Verslagen has one of those fancy cell phone plus
EVERYTHING -- he is reading SuzukiSavage Forum while waiting to our food. The Reuben
IS excelent. Marbled rye bread, piled on corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese -- a sandwich to kill for. Really. It is for killing me. Corned beef is brine-cured beef. Sauerkraut is shredded cabbage in brine. I am suppose to keep my sodium over 2,000 mg a day. I figure I have to stop eating for four days to average my daily limit.
*SIGH* LOVE it. May kill me.

Riding back home, stop for the Double Deck Bus for the Scavenger Hunt. Not for one. For THREE:

-----
A good day ride. Slow because the traffic:
20 miles Home-Seal Beach via freeway
34 miles to San Juan Capistrano on Pacific Coast Highway
28 miles to Lake Elsinore up/down Ortega Highway
28 miles to Rainbow up the I-15
108 miles to Dana Point via Camp Pendleton on I-5 along the cool coast and back home.
-------
218 miles
