Rear turn signal light bulb (Read 65 times)

Tiefighterpilot Senior Member Offline Daily Rider Posts: 346 San Francisco	Rear turn signal light bulb 07/18/10 at 18:34:08 What bulb replaces the turn signal bulb on rear? I am using 12v 2057 Sylvania long life dual filament bulb and they keeps burning out after about a week. Thanks.

Which filament should light up for running light? the tall post with thin wires or short post with think wires? I am thinking maybe I have the wires reversed.

It looks like from the manual that turn signal is 21W and running light is 5W. Which means if I run dual filament, I can use 7528 bulb which is 12.8v 21/5 watt.

I think I may have solved my issue, going over it with my buddy who is an electrician. I have my wires reversed so running light watt is going through the turn signal filament and turn signal watt is going through the running light filament. I will have to switch and see if it blows up.
