I dont understand "pride" in anything I didnt accomplish on my own. It would be like being "Proud" of being tall, an accident of genetics, just as being American is just an accident of birth. I AM Happy I am American as opposed to so many other options, but to be Proud of it would seem to me to be rather difficult to do.

What our govt has devolved into is shameful.

Absolutly right Bill, these people don't call there monthly check a welfare check,they call it there pay check. They should be forced to take the pill after two kids ,if they ignore that then start lowering there pay check with every other kid. It's a fu*king disgrace.

Yeah, the classic thing is that there are examples all around us every day - like the Palin daughter getting pregnant (parental acceptance), then engaged for the SECOND time to the baby daddy whose very name "Levi Johnston" is eyebrow raising, and then new reports that he knocked someone else up out of wedlock too. (cause he cant keep his johnson in his levis)

Did I mention the mother of this child wants to be president?

I'm thinking spay/neuter ought to apply to humans too... Lips Sealed
