Reply #4 - 08/13/10 at 17:32:32 Had a friend many years ago that blamed is drug habit and wife problems on his harley so he took a 12 ga shotgun to it and then burned it in the yard then buried in the field.....got his life together and saved his marriage!! True story.

well - too much of anything can be a bad thing - i spent too much time with my first hobby during my first marriage (racing radio controlled cars) - led to divorce - quit the hobby got married 2nd time - picked the hobby back up but in a much more limited participation (1x a month instead of 4 nights a week) - and also picked up 2nd hobby the Savage - wifey has a true hatred of both hobbies because they take time away from her...but at least this time i know when i have spent too much time with either one and not enough with her......so i juggle work, wife, hobby 1 & hobby 2 and try to maintain a reasonable balance - sometimes the balance gets off but i get it back track as quickly as i can with a "wifey-butt-kiss-weekend".....then life is good again.....i dont watch as much football as i used to either - she claimed she was a football widow from August until December when i was coaching...so i quit that too.....the things we sacrifice to maintain a relationship.

ride em, don't hide em.

My first devorse was about golf,I would never quit,I told her I would pay for lessons, she just could not get the hang of it.
Beside if I quit I would be misareble.
My second and third was about golf .I worked a swing shift and played every morning and Saterday, Sunday I cooked the roast,I was a better cook.
the 4th and 5th were about golf and booze,I am very happily single so you know who won those battles.
As for the guy that shot his Harley, He didn't shoot it to please his wife;
