Savage makes the cover...

Just got my latest edition of "The Thumper News" the official publication of The Four Stroke Single's National Owners Club (FSSNOC). Kind of a snazzy bike on the cover, might even catch on!

Sweet! But I don't think that's the most flattering picture I've ever seen of one...

Babyhog ditto on the poor picture, but at least the info is out there. Maybe other bright bike people will take notice of the Savage/S40.

Hey Southpaw, I think that bike belongs to the FSSNOC director himself.

'Tis indeed a fine steed! I considered making a try at the Oklahoma ThumperCafe but the wheels started falling off that idea before it ever got off the ground!

I would think it would be easy to make the cover, the magazine is all about singles ,how many singles out there ? the Savage should make the cover every few months.

I don't know about that, Mick. I've been a member for 4+ years and only remember one other Savage cover. That's part of the beauty of that club is it's variety! There may not be too many in current production but if I remember correctly, I've seen Royal Enfields, Matchless, Aprillas?, BSAs, MotoGuzzi Falcons, The obvious Honda and Yamaha SR500 class bikes, several dualsports I didn't even know existed. Most 500cc and below, but these boys put on some miles and modifications in a year. Just take a look at Max Morely's bike from this site. Thumpers might be a niche market, but the Savage isn't the only one out there!
