Interesting homemade air filter and starter button. Also, what's the deal with moving the battery where he did?

Looks like he had to make room for his fire extinguiser.
he should investigate the mini battery install under the swingarm.
The ram air intake is not a good design. Should be a sweeping arc from inlet to carb. That way when run thru a cloud of bugs they'll shoot straight thru to the head before the splatter on the intake valve.

Hey, Verslagen, could you please translate that into layman's English ?
I'm kinda confoozed...
Should the tube from air filter to carb be a sweeping arc ? 90º? 180º?
How can the bugs sweep right nito the head without splattering against the intake valve anyway ?
