That's my DR650 with the Ural sidecar that I use for a p/u truck.
I went down to the trail by the ocean just north of Kona.  This is a lava and sand trail alongside the sea passing occasional sand beaches but mostly Black lava right out into the water.
Now this ain't your wimpy eastern Washington lava road, This is frame busting sharp cornered, deep corrigated, tire slicing, engine puncturing weapons from Pele lava road.  Where it wasn't that, it was deep sand.
This trail is beloved by locals with monster trucks and farm implement tires who come to the beach for weekends.  No tourists here!  Just glad I added 4 teeth to the rear sprocket a while back, I may even add two more.
