Just for fun I think I will reverse them,I bet no one notices. that was interesting about Texas and other state flags.

Mick,
On a sailboat you fly the flag of the nation you're visiting from the starboard spreader and your own national flag from either a jackstaff on the stern rail or off the gaff of the mainsail, or at least where the gaff would more or less be with a sloop rig's more triangular sail.

So, the two flags may not necessarily be at the same height, but they're not at the same location, so it's OK.
