Hey, man, how did you get all that damage from a 10mph bump?

Sorry to hear of your pain, but, look at the bright side, only minor damage to the bike and relatively minor damage to yourself.
I know "a broken wrist and a broken rib" sounds terrible, but...
...would you rather have suffered a broken ankle (stuck under a hot exhaust pipe, btw) and a punctured lung?
Fix the bike, buy some serious gear:
- heavy duty leather gloves (enduro style, not HD poser),
- hand guards (as on enduro bikes)
- riding boots (they protect the ankles and toes from being crushed)
- riding jacket (with elbow and shoulder pads)
- riding jeans (mine are double layer denim reinforced with kevlar fiber, and knee pads)
You'll still look the part, be very comfy, and be able to run all your errands without feeling like an astronaut.

PS Don't forget to check your front brake pads, they often soil with oil...

soft as gook and won't brake anymore.
