Let me add my condolences to all those being extended by the other members of this site. I will continue to pray for your peace.

I do have family and friends here, so plenty of support that way

arrangements were made today, my son is handling all the stuff in that regard

now the really hard part of dealing with all the personal items in the house; I have no doubt this willl take some time go get through it, its hard to just look at things right now

we had our first "estate" sale today for my mom whose memorial service we had yesterday..
im right there with ya..
i havent had a good nites sleep in over a week and am sure your situation has been running longer..

try to find the lighter side of the events forth coming..
one id like to share with you..
mom was in hospice and i was able to divert my brother and the grand kids and my wife etc out of the room so they could go look at assisted living/nursing home situations...
(all of which were TOO gross for our finances)
once we were alone i tried have THE talk with mom but she wasnt in the mood ..(one of the pamplets said give them what they want)
she expressed her desire to get out of"this darn bed" so i asked her if she wanted to go play bingo..she was a bingo queen..
no just help me to the window(about 20 feet from her bed)she says..
so i get up help her in that direction and her gown opened up in the back..
so i got his 79 year old wrinkly arse staring me in the face!!
hold on ma let me help..got her all cinched back up.. and to the windows..you wanna sit in this nice chair here(we are both outta wind by then) NO take me back to the bed..
i  got her loaded back in the cocoon type bed turned on her side facin away from me..i was doin a crossword im in a chair and she lets one RIPPP...PFFFTTT...she hadnt eaten or had a bowel movement for over 36hrs at that time...
i said THAT had to feel good..LOL..
she laffed too and said with a sigh YEAAHH....

come to find out she had nailed my daughter later that nite with a couple more....

i still have tears but i can still laff..
look for those times that make you laff or make you smile...

as far as the "estate" settlements etc carp my half brother(mom raised me from when i was 2)put in perspective for me..
"it costs money to come into this world, and its costs money to leave it
and you have to pay as go in between"
