Decided I was gonna ride up through Battleground to Cougar, and around the east side of St. Helens up to Spirit Lake. Turns out the road's still closed for snow! Ran into the ranger at the gate across the highway though, and he said it's opening tomorrow... talk about lousy timing!
Anywho, ended up riding another road I like up there that's finally open up to the Lava Canyon, and on the way back down decided to check out a side road to the Climber's Bivouac. It turned into gravel in short order, and continued that way for probably 15 miles or so, more than it shows on the map along the road anyway (arrowed lines courtesy of MS Paint, woohoo!).
