I bought my 2013 S40 last year and have ridden it almost every day to work since.

Welcome to all the new folks. One word of advice, Savage/S40's are like Lay's Potato Chips, it's hard to stop at just one.

Very nice bike! Unmolested, clean piece that you can modify to suit your taste. Have fun!

thx! it's pretty much a stock bike, I'm gonna add a pair of small saddlebags for locks keeping, and will have the headlamp swapped to a 45w LED, kinda keep its original taste lol

Anthony from South Lyon, Michigan. Bought a 1998 savage a month ago and just finished getting it running. I rebuilt the carburetor, put in the raptor petcock, replaced handlebars/grips/mirrors, and added a sportster headlight fairing. I got tons of information from this site between buying the bike and now and wanted to say hi and thanks!

Just gave her a clean. A few mods.
Custom single seat
LED bullet Indicators
Retro break light.
Drag bars
1 inch risers (19mm sockets used)
GPS speedo and bracket
Slash cut exhaust with no baffle
You got everything right on that bike Mauts, IMHO.
The Savage is not known for it's smooth flowing lines, but you
completely overcame that with your mods.
Well done, but not overdone.

I think using a Mustang seat and stock fender is what makes Maut’s bike look long and flowing. Drag bars help too.

Just finished up my Bobber Build and wanted to show it off. 2015 Suzuki S40. Here are the upgrades:
Blue Collar Bobbers kit
Fender mounted '32 Ford Tail light LED
All new LED mini turn signals from BCB
Signal Dynamics Tri-star converting rear turn signals into brake lights as well
Ramz's Forward Control kit
Harley Muffler and Wrapped Exhaust
Chain Drive 17T and 45T sprockets
Z Handlebars
Trimmed front fender to match profile of rear fender
Viking single saddle bag
Fuel sight gauge
Raptor Petcock
Marco Air Horn (139 db)
Painted a few parts black
Overall very satisfied how this turned out getting an inexpensive custom bobber.
