I'm a little late getting this posted to the whole series of "you and your ride," but better late than never... Roll Eyes

Never mind the mess in the garage, I'm trying to clean it out. It's become too cold to ride on a regular basis anymore...it got down to -2f last night and is only forecast to have highs around 20f for the next week or so Sad

Guess it's time to bring out the snowmobiles, but we don't have snow either...just cold as hell Embarrassed

Great PICs...

Here's my 1st legal bike back in the summer of '86.

Me ol' Suzie 125 GS..

The guy in the leathers is Fred, one of triplets and they all loved bikes... (and you could only tell them apart from the bikes they had or the clothes they wore....)

Fred owned the MZ in the background.... Kick start come gear shift thingie.......

LOL.. Sorry for the double post.....

The last pic was when we met up in a little hamlet in Kent and rode down to a seaside town called Margate... A bit of a grubby dive even then.....

Here's me that weekend..

Hmmmm.... ermmmm.....

Then on the way home I bumped into a thing called a Cortina...

Just as it turned right, across the traffic and I hit it near broadside...

Just like this one..... (pinched from google just to give you an idea..)

Here's the nice bit of kit I got to put my leg back to normal.. well 'ish.. Wink

OK I was young and stupid.. But I learnt ONE LESSON.

If you can't resize it in your photo software, and if you are using Photobucket, there is a re-size option that you can use to reduce the size of the pic. If not, you can probably resort to opening it in Paint, which most people have, and use the "Image" >> "Stretch/Skew" function .... reduce the %'s equally horizontal & vertical (80%/80% or something) and re-save the picture. Good Luck!

Skidoo - OUCH, that contraption looks painful! Hope you healed perfectly!

by the look of your neat jacket you would be considered a rocker, but that little bike 125cc is closer to a scooter so that would make you a Mod. And they still have (L) plates ? ,so what are you Skidoo ?
I'm a rocker you can follow this thread back to check it out. My son who still lives in England was pretty disgusted when he found out ,because he ride's a scooter. in fact he has not spoken to me since,
over a year ago.

2 wheels good 4 bad.....

At least we know when we ride we ride knowing some plonker is hell bent on knocking you off... That's what makes us good at staying alive...

To this day we still have the great scooter/bike divide over here.

I don't get it myself... Lambretta or Speed Twin.. We all get bugs in our teeth........

I would never take the piss Skid , my first little bike after I got out the Army was a 100 cc Ducati,could hardly pull the skin off a rice pud but it did look nice. send you a pic shortly.
