Yeah, Thumper has a SuperBrace, and is more stable in the grooves and feels better in the corners.. BUT,
Mad Hamish is running on the original 10 year old IRCs, and Thumper is on Metzeler.

I just got Mad Hamish ($800 and 2300 miles) a few weeks ago. I thought the tires would need replaced right away, but no cracks anywhere. I even deflated them and squished them around. I'm sure they won't last very long though. When they go, I'll put Route 66 tires on.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

I do,.. but I mostly get it from the chrome triple tree, and the handlebar clamps...
I think the tank glare blows past my belly...

I just realized I've been trollin' about on the forums, and I never put a pic of me and my bike up yet. So.... here ya go!

The day I got my bike home

Then I have a picture of me with my gear, but it's one of those ridiculously small barely see a thing picture. Then I realized my sweetheart took a video once. {

}

In the above video ^ the reason my bike seems louder than the norm is because the PO hollowed out the muffler and welded the sucker on there. Was a pain in the ass to get off haha, but it sure sounded nice while it lasted.. x)

Here is also a much better view of my precious. Happy

Piglet, your bike is almost identical to mine except for the cool Mustang Seat...What was it originally intended to fit?....Also you have cool Saddlemen bags and I have wimpy Suzuki Bags...I have a backrest that I mounted further back and Ed L Controls...But your pic is so much cooler....and the operator is definately sexier...

Haha thank you! The Mustang seat I found cheap on ebay, originally fit an old Ironhead, I believe, but it was the look I wanted. Shape was kinda the same, unfortunately the seat pans were totally different, so I removed both covers and guts and swapped them. Put the Mustang cover and guts on my stock seat pan. Voila! It wasn't easy, and I ended up getting help from an upholsterer, but I love it.

Come on now ... don't be shy .... let's see you and yours.... Cool
