I haven't been on a bike in 15 years. Man it felt good to get out and ride. I saw this at a dealership and decided to jump back into it. I've always had a soft spot for the savage. and seems like the perfect bike to get my "sea legs" back and enjoy some back roads.

Very nice photos there, marekbuk. I really like the clean look of your current bobber.
What seat and mounting plate did you go with? Looks so nice.
And, what about the rear fender? Does it allow running the 140/90 tire? Are you running the stock 140/80 on the rear?

Sorry for all the questions but just cleaning up the seat and the back end of the bike is what I'd really like to do if I could ever get over the need for my saddlebags. Undecided

Reply #895 - 04/24/16 at 08:58:58 Hi Thanks for your comments - The fender and seat/plate were bought from Lance at Blue Collar Bobbers and everything fit snugly with the stock tyre. I bought a Harley silencer from Super Thumper at Windsor Cycles and it sounds great!
