I'm planning on arriving Wednesday and departing on Saturday. However, I might actually arrive earlier (Tuesday or even Monday) depending on the Honey-Doo list at home. Depends somewhat on what the cost split of the room is also.

Buck, He puts his bike in the back of his white pickup truck. You need to PM him right quick like about getting a lift if that is what you are thinking about.

Lancer, you need to do a head count on your room. I sense a possible "overbook situation" coming.

when is an important question, as some are coming Monday and some are coming Wednesday

I know I am forgetting somebody/somebodies but the room is already over capacity even with using the futons and all four bunk beds.

You need to roll call your room so folks will know that they need to book an additional double room.

Buck, oldfeller has it right. I usually put the bike in the back of my S10. This year I'm leaving early tuesday morning to arrive at deals gap on wednesday afternoon.
Oldfeller, didn't toymaker say he was coming this year?

We have ?? question marks ?? because folks haven't checked in to say what they are planning on doing and when they are arriving.

Needless to say, folks plans move around some right up until the day of arrival, so no list is totally fixed in all the details. Showing up a day earlier would get you somewhat better accommodations, obviously. Cancellations will cause everybody to move up a slot, and we always have a few at the last minute every year.

Also, there might be enough people coming to rent an extra 3 man room and sleep 3 in it (2 beds and a futon).

Zuk, The apartment is big, lots of floor space.

If someone rents a standard room there will be tons of free space and beds.

I'll propose the idea we discussed and see if it flies anywhere.

You see, Bill Young and I will be infesting the mountains starting late Saturday June 23rd as Bill was raised around Asheville as a kid and has him a 60 year old man's wish to go search out his roots -- and 60 year old roots can be lost in new laid down subdivisions, etc and can be somewhat tough to locate sometimes. Especially when you left as a pre-teen and weren't driving and didn't necessarily know where things were in the first place.

I figure that within 2 days of puttering about we can search out all that he can recognize, anyway.

Some of us will wander about some fer no good reason, you know.
