One trick that worked pretty well was for the cop on site to stop traffic and 'solicited' the help of three or four citizens to push it into the truck. A badge is a wonderful thing!
Speaking of badges, that reminds me of the Super Bowl Ring commercials on TV.
Maybe a ring would have helped.
