A picture tells a thousand words... I had a picture of my bike from 2009, another from a 2 months before I got the ticket, and I took one of it the week after I got the ticket...
Although the DMV won't certify a vehicle for the purpose of fighting a ticket, they did say it looked okay to them.... I told the judge that, and showed him the pics... and he agreed...
Bot - 1,.. vindictive, bastard, motorcycle cop - 0...
The guy just really wanted to give me a ticket for anything he could find. Maybe a bad cop,... or maybe just having a bad day...
Sure hope I don't meet up with him again... he's gonna' have it in for me now...

Still would've been funny if you did the man-on-the-street with a microphone thing.. "Can you see my plate? Can YOU see my plate??" Cuz It's so obviously legible.. but it passing under DMV noses had to be the clincher.
