Now I'm trying to decifer if it IS an 86 savage seat or if the guy ripped us off. It's totally different!

Notice the plastic tab at the front and the two metal tabs with holes toward the back, just like the one-piece seat above. By the way, if someone wants this seat they can have it for the cost of shipping. UPDATE: the seat is now spoken for.

YES, I JUST DID!

I had a 96 with a beat up seat. I ordered what the previous owner said was a 1986 seat on ebay. Looked really great. I tried to fit it on my 1996 and it didn't line up properly.

I chocked it up to maybe the older ones (4 speed) didn't quite fit the 5 speed ones, hence why I just listed it as an 86.

I'd like someone to shed some light on this. It definately didn't fit my 96. If we can get some consensus that 86 is the exact same I have no problem having you send it back, I can take it up with the seller who sold it to me down the road.

I was under the understanding that they remained virtually the same since they came out....but recently I heard the older ones were 4 speed....maybe there were more differences?
