Arnold, these mts are soo beautiful. I really wished, I could have done a better job of capturing the beauty yesterday.
Hopefully hubby and I, can get some video of these soon. I am blessed to have such beauty surrounding me, when out on my rides.
Their are other places near by which have differnt views, of the same mtns. I will try and capture some of them as well.
Today it is overcast with rain due back in later today.
I may get a ride in, yet for pic taking, they won't have the pretty skies like yesterday..  Sad kim

looks like multiple days in a row fo riding in north central NC - yesterday snow early - dentist appt and rode the cycle in the afternoon roads were dry by then - riding today - and most of next week so it appears if the weather man is right....so far i have ridden less than i had hoped i could from Nov thru Jan. Feb is shaping up ok....we are known for bad weather in March so it aint over til the April fools decide whether the weather will cooperate. Roll Eyes

PMS cured? YOu just thought there were riches to be made by curing the common cold. You solve this problem & about 1/2 the world will beat a path to your door.

We're supposed to have our February thaw and warm-up this weekend.  Of course, it's on an Air Force Reserve weekend...

We did -- we had our warm-up, and I was stuck at the airbase.  On the plus side, it's supposed to hold for a few days so I WILL get some riding in!

Today is my first ride to work since the snowstorm a couple of weeks ago (when they didn't plow all of the roads). This has been a bad winter, but things are looking up. I figure to be riding to work from now till next year.

Had a lot of trouble with my back. Now my right foot only pushes down, but not up. Lower spine all blowed up. Been getting by on old Yuasa battery that I drained completely TWICE and recharged. Rode 8 miles 3 weeks ago. Tried again today and no crank. Been on trickler, but barley turned. Got a new Yuasa YB14L-A2 for $63.08 today. After four snows here in N Ms this year, the forecast is 65-70 through Friday. If it don't hurt too bad, I'm gonna' get my share of riding back. BTW, how are the Big Cranks some of you guys bought holding up?  Smiley

'96, bought it with 16,400 miles, 4 months and a 1000 miles later and it still feels like yesterday when I got it. Grin
Previous owner said just maintenance and tires.
Clutch slips, brakes squeal until I clean 'em. Tongue
Big crank ordered, had to bump start it these last few cold mornings (if you call 42F cold, I do)
Probably do the clutch and cam chain at 20k

Been in there ever since, gave it 6 months off when I got the new bike.
Then that battery gave up the ghost, so it's big crank to the rescue.
Well I did trickle charge it over nite.
So four years, never a problem.

Put my new battery in today and rode about 30 miles in beautiful sunshine, about 65 degrees. Since it will be two years in March since I got Suzi, I never realized how slow the old battery was turning until I got this one. It's supposed to get warmer all week till about 70 Friday. That should go a long way toward warding off PMS.

Around 15 during the days - but last week it reached 33 and it was sunny here in Maine. The road is covered in salt and sand but this guy was out on a dirt bike! Snowsleds are everywhere. I couldn't  get my bike out if I wanted to- too much snow to dig out!

Well it's back... Shucks. As some of the rest of you are now
starting to warm up, here were having snow showers, rain, wind,
some sun even. Temps are cool and just too darn cool and icky for
Genie and I to go out.  :'(  Right now is cool as only 41 and again snow showers expected.
All of you that are able to get out and about, hugs and let's see some pics and hear of your riding experiences.. Hugs.. Smiley kim :'(

Your P.M.S. has drifted south.
Even the 4 wheeled helmet was saying lets stay home today.
Traction control was active.   Cool

I've been away from the bike and off the site pretty much since November. Last week the home life finally settled down and things started coming together. I got my new clutch cable on, replaced the battery and got the Great White out from under the cover. Just got back from my shakedown cruise. It's gonna be a week getting the smile off my face! only 30 miles today, but tomorow I hope to put several hundred on her. Sure feels great to be back in the saddle.

Woohooo!!!!  My PMS is not totally cured, but got helped along today.  60 degrees and sunny when I got home for work, so I took a little ride.  Only about 20 miles, but it sure felt great!  First ride for quite some time.  Tomorrow is supposed to be nice too, so my boy and I are planning a ride after work tomorrow too.  Will be maybe 30 in the morning, and we still have quite a bit of nasty on the road, so I probably won't ride to work, but hey, its a start!

Welcome back Southpaw.  Feels good, don't it!

Kimmy, one of these days we will ride on the same day!   Wink  Guess that's what we get for being on opposite sides of the country!
