Only reason I found that was b/c we have been building some garden stuff w/ bamboo & I was looking for some ideas for bamboo uses. I knew there was a much better way to lash that stuff, so I went looking for that. Now, as of this AM, I have it. Next project should lash together a lot nicer.

Some poles driven down, & a framework lashed onto them, & plastic over & Its safe to plant a few things before last frost. The cost of plastic & cotton string, gas to get stuff & time,,, Hopefully the plants will produce enough to make all that worth it.


Ohh, & pad the corners up so they dont grab & tear plastic.

nice catch Justin, they were around in the early 50s as I recall,their were some with bamboo rims aswell, very light ,they were made for indoor race tracks, If I remember right a guy called "Reg Harris" rode one,but his legs were so powerfull often at the get go the frame would bend so much the chain would come off,anyway he did stay with bamboo rims for a while.
