I have a little access to my computer and my fingers seem to be working without too many backups to correct spastick fingers.
My son said he posted something about the accident but don't have time right now to find the post so will just do a quick and dirty.
Road turned...I did not
went to the grass to ride it out but front wheel found a hole somewhere so bike stopped and I did not...about 50 mph
bruised R. kidney; several broken ribs and fractured #1 lumber vert.
wearing hard frame body brace for 6 wks +/- and then soft brace for some time
Dr ordered daily body massage by at least 2 extremely attractive physical therapists

Best wishes from a new guy. Hope the recovery goes well.
My wife works as an office manager at a physio clinic and has an interesting theory on therapists. There are basically two types: The real big, scary lookin' ones that can intimidate you into doing your therapy program, and the drop-dead gorgeous ones that get you to do the work without thinkin' about it 'cause your mind is...... ahem..... elsewhere.
Here's hoping you get the latter!

Another Salute from a New Guy! Salute! I had wondered what had ahppened to you. I even got your name from a fellow lister and googles you in SC and called what was your son's house. Lovely daughter in law told me you was busting out on Fri last week and to please call back. Found out we're the same age.
Well never seen the emails pile up like the ones for you today. I got some great jokes for you but with dem ribs broken you'd be like break dancing or something and maybe relapse.
I kept wondering where's dat Lancer guy??? and thinking where are we gonna get another "Guru" in the off season. ha
Nice hearing about those therapists and that you've got your carbonation back.

Hmmm.. so you were looking at attractive therapists when the road turned and that caused you to not? It is a conspiracy for them to get business!!
Sure am glad you will be OK.. but, in time for the Dragon?? Sure hope so!!!!
Take care!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Add my best wishes to everyone else here on the site. Recovery time always seems to go twice as slow as regular time, and about ten times as slow as riding time, but it does pass. Hang in there, and you will be back in the saddle.
