Well, it's official. I picked up my new bike today. I was planning on having my daughter drop me off and riding the bike home, but with the temps still in the upper 30's today, I decided to pick it up with the truck. When I got home, I unloaded and took a quick ride down the road and back. It's gonna take a little getting used to. Alot more weight and the floorboards with heel shifter. Can't wait til the temps start to come up some. I didn't take any pics but it looks exactly like this except mine has a windshield.

I'm not very mechanical, so I prolly won't do much more than oil and filter changes myself. Planning on an aftermarket exhaust before too long. and maybe a passenger backrest for my daughter.

Still have the savage. Not planning on getting rid of it. I might turn it into a bobber, or leave it like it is and teach my daughter how to ride.

It is different but after a few rides it will start to feel natural. Loved the s40 but these ones are way more comfy on the longer rides. I guess I got old.
