Spring Maintenance - Tire Upgrade

For all of our new riders and members it's time to do your spring maintenace- tires are especially important to check after a long winter!
Experts now reccomend filling your tires with 78% NItrogen for best performance and tire life. You can actually find 78% Nitro at many gas stations , for a modest compression fee! Just fill to the same pressure you normally use.
If you can't find it, I can ship you a box full for $10 plus s/h - check the MArketplace section of the list!

When I went to ride for the first time
this season, checked tires and both
were down 10 lbs of pressure. So
this is good advice for all of us who's
bikes may have set for several months.

I like the idea, but, I just cant get all wound up about it. Ill just have to keep pumping compressed air. WAY too many tires in my life to mess with making it more of a science project keeping them all rolling. I know theyre supposed to stay aired up better with nitrogen but the Vibe that came with Nitrogen in the tires needed air after several months & after Ive aired them up several times, I see no measurable difference. The rule of 80/20 leaves me believing Ill just be pumping air for the rest of my life,
