So, youre thinking you left whatever poked your tire layin in the road & you went on? If the sidewall isnt messed up & the hole is so tiny you cant find it & the tire is worth removing AND reinstalling, then go fot it,, but ID sure want o lay my eyes on where the hole is in the tire..Have you sprayed it with soapy water? Or have you already got the tube out?

I would try to find where the hole occured in the tire and patch it from the inside. If the hole is big enough it can wear at the tube and nibble through it as you ride. Also if you picked up a thin piece of wire and it is still in the tire it will give you another flat. I've had both happen Sad

. A lot depends on the age and wear on the tire, if it is a stock IRC with more than 5K miles it should be replaced anyway.

Maybe your neighbor doesn't like your bike. How loud is your exhaust. Lastly, there is such a thing as a slow leak that even a tire shop can't find. And I have one here on a trailer that "I" can't find.

Local shop here quotes on their website, $25 to replace tube alone if you buy from them. Bike Bandit tube price is about 35 bones, so I am thinking the local shop might be a little higher, maybe 70-80 total?

A new tire is at least $130. If I do get a tire what are some good ones? I only found two that are the right size on Bike bandit, but they say they are for tubeless tires...

If you follow the rules... another 1000 miles
$25 to install a 15 or 20 dollar tube.

Dunlop D404 is the least I'd put on it... $80 + shipping
my local would charge $35 to mount.

You'd get about 10k out of it.

40/1000 or 120/10000
$1/25miles or $1/83miles

Looks like a no brainer to me... new tire, keep the old one for an emergency.
