saddle bag ideas?

Having a hard time finding saddle bags large enough to carry anything more than a few small items for the savage. Looking for ones large enough to put my leather jacket and a few other things if possible. The bike came with the Willie and Max bags recommended for it but they just dont work for me. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

I had these on last year, they were big enough to carry the bike cover in one and several bottles of water, spare helmet sheild, bike manuel and lots of room to spare in the other.
I might be willing to sell them but the price would have to be right.

My ride is a 2005 LS650, customized with ISO grips, cone air filter, stage 1 jets, Jardine exhaust, solo seat, AM turn sigs, and a catseye tail light. Next year, custom paint job (hopefully)!

I have my eye on a set from Leatherup.com , have ordered from them before and everything has been pretty good quality. The also show a photo of the dimentions for the bags so that might help. I have the OEM bags right now and I would have to fight with them to get a leather jacket into one of them!

If you want something large enough to put in a jacket w/o folding it 10 times, you want a trunk...

back in the old days when I still owned my savage these are the bags I had on. For more detail ask Palodin he has the exact same bags.
I could put a leather jacket in one,and the could hold a gallon of milk.
even those plastic 1 gallon gas cans from wal-mart, allthough I would not use them for food after gas cans.
