Been pretty warm all this month, too bad it frickin rained every day. Looked nice today so I thought I might as well finish up my projects so I can ride the first day it stops.

So when I was learning to first ride, I snapped some turn signals. Cool

Replaced! ...and boy was it a bugger figuring a way to rig them up. Got me one of those schnazzy screamin eagle exhausts, Re-jetted, spacer mod, K&N paper filter, Oil change, and Grin

... the crown jewel of much time well spent:

a 3 foot sissy bar

Yes sir, the 60's are definitely back. And to think it only took far too many hours to count between fabbing up brackets, bending, drilling, tapping, wiring etc... Thank god its finally done and mounted.

I'll get some more pics, and better quality too! As soon as I can dig out something other than a camera phone.

Next years projects:
Weld up those ugly holes, Get that tall sucker chromed, some engine porting, and some new custom paint from yours truly.
Oh yea, and I might finish building this custom bike for my wifey, already got the handlebars! Grin

Thanks all for the comments. Yep, the bikes all up and running, and running pretty well too. Huh, must have done something right for a change. Ze wife hasn't riden it yet but I really should let her. (the vulcan in the picture is my fathers) Wanted to get her her own savage so we could ride together, but money hasn't exactly been good to us lately..

So instead we went the ricer route with some plastic Sounds good with me Jimmer, as soon as this weather clears up I want to do some weekend trips.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy checking out retirement, trying to get information from my employer, past employer, Social Security,and the military about available benefits. Living her in Pa. sort of feels like living in the northwest, Rain Rain Rain, I've been told. Let me know, we will make the weekend meet and greet work.

Should have said something man, I've got a twisted chrome version of that bar, factory made, still sporting CB or KZ siderails/mounts.

Too hot to ride here, it's been in the 80s, and with Beale Street being eaten by the Mississippi River, no point going to Memphis for the day. Graceland? Been there, boring.

Is that Vulcan a 1500A? Got a full rear fender rotting away in the shed if he wants to change up the look a touch. Cobra Boulevard new old stock fibergalss, front ears removed, Mustang bib, tombstone taillight. Modded to also fit an 800A.

I know, strap your wifey on the back and ride down. Good place to thaw out.
