Plus all of our bikes are sitting lonely in the garages.

The Ohio Valley is to clear up tomorrow for 2 days.

In all of April, we had exactly ONE day without some measurable rain. It's been almost as bad this month.

Farm planting is so far behind that it's getting critical, especially for the corn crop. The old rule of thumb is that you lose a bushel an acre in corn production for every day after 5/10 that you plant.

Monday we had snow showers mixed in with our daily rain and fog. Don't think the sun has been out for more than an hour since sometime in April. I haven't even gotten in a decent ride yet. Oh well it's only three & a half months till fall...we always get some nice weather in the fall.

North Central Ohio was decent today. Suppose to be better Fri. and Sat. I need to mow the yard, but its like walking on a wet sponge. I really really need to ride to unleash all this winter time stress.
I live on a state highway and normally see or hear alot of bikes going by this time of year. Not been the case lately as everyone else is holed up as well. I do know one thing...the bike is cleaner than ever with all the time I've had to scrub it.

I like others need to get out and get a good ride in and shake off the winter doldrums. I do have to say my rose garden is getting greened up and veggie garden is growing like crazy.

Jerry my friend, the weather may be warmer down there in Ohio, but Michigan my Michigan is the home of the U of M Wolverines!

To move to Ohio and suffer those crazy Buckeye fans (not to the mention the thugs on "those OSU teams", would raise my blood pressure to the boiling point (can't have that at my age).

As the bumper stickers say up here in God's country "Oh How I Hate Ohio State"! Grin

KristenAnn, I rode today in 75 degree sunshine. We had a very wet spring complete with killer tornados. I suspect we will have a hot summer here in the Southeast. I hope you get to ride and release some endorphins and Serotonin soon. While you are homebound you may enjoy Cycle World's website. They have some good articles if you like to read.
