I used the how to "adjust your valves" by Verslagen...found 3 out of tolerance and now have all 4 valves set at .004 runs great sounds great was not hard following the how to - glad there are such smart folks who share their knowledge here.

Good Job.. Your becoming one with your bike.
You will be able to help the others now as well.

i got the bike with 6900 on it 1 yr ago - now at 10K...plan to check it again at 15....i know the book says every 4K and I think oil change then too - I change the oil every 1500 because the trans/clutch seems to like it and I hate nasty black oil....so oil every 1500 and valves every 5K is my plan - next stop the cam chain tensioner as soon as Verslagen has some in stock...i am not planning to take any chances with the thing coming apart while i am riding.....hopefully in the next 2k i will have that part done

Congrat's!!!! If you can build an RC Car you can wrench on a motorcycle all day long. I'm building a new 1/8 E Buggy. I think working on the Savage is easier LOL.

I'm building a Caster EX1.5R Fusion. Those have to be ordered from Caster. I get most of my airplane and car supplies from Chris. Hope to get it finished this week and be on the track with it Sat. I dont drive the buggy. My son is a great driver.I've been talking to Chris about building an oval car. I think I could drive oval. I've got a new 1/10 Slider but no one is running them at King. Chris is trying to talk me into a 1/18 Traxxas 4WD.
