Surprisingly enough though, I've probably planted several hundred trees in my life (maybe not a tree hugger, but tree sympathetic maybe?). Every summer growing up on a ranch Dad would get some from the state, and we'd plant them along the edges of the pastures he wintered the cattle in, to help block the wind off them. The deer seemed to appreciate them too, they'd eat about half the baby ceders we'd plant every winter! Roll Eyes

Wow, that comment really got off the thread of the post...
