WD, you seen the 2011 Vulcan 900 special edition?
Was window shopping at the bike shop yesterday and seen one, almost had a Orgam...lol
Sweet looking ride, nice matte black ALL OVER with bronze badgeing. Dont recall seeing a single bit of chrome or silver anywhere. VERY serious case of 'ME WANT.'

The two toned C50T in white n gray was'nt to bad looking either. Drooled on the tank.
Slightly used blue 900, perfect fit except for the wallet.
Wont even mention the burnt orange 650R.
Got to stay out of the display areas of the shops...lol

I avoid the dealership like the plague. There are only 3 bikes out there I have any interest in getting, and all three are out of production. Kawi VN800A (the one with a 21" front wheel), Kawi VN1500 Classic/Drifter (same bike, different fenders), Honda VT1100 ACE.

I'd take another antique bike but I've kinda lost my taste for them.

Kim, "scooter trash" has nothing to do with a wheeled chainsaw engine. I'm a former patch.

I call my self a motorcyclist,I only wavy when they wavy first, unless its a goldwing I will not wavy at them. Years ago they wouldn't wavy or didn't even see you at a rest area. Well after my wife died I bought a goldwing and the goldwingers would wavy but I wouldn't wavy back but would wavy at other bikes when they waved . When I wavy my left hand goes up no fancy stuff for me.

Yeah, what Bill said.

I was riding today after I read Bill's post and low and behold, a Goldwing was approaching. I wavy at him, but he didn't wavy back at me  Shocked

I ride 99% of the time alone. The other 1% of the time I ride with a couple of friends. I ride because I enjoy it, not because I want to impress anyone, and I'm comfortable with the size of my Savage Piston Wink

Did a Relay ride I told ya'll about in May. Fifty bikes with several two-ups on everything from Honda Rebel to I don't know what they were Harleys and Hondas with all the trimmings. Ride was hosted by a Christian MC club. Didn't know hardly anyone. I had people looking over the Savage and I know at least 40 of them spoke to me when we were gearing up and at our stops. One great "friend maker" is to have a common enemy. We need to change that whenever we can. A kind word or an indication that "we are both here on this planet and I see you" can go a long way.
