Oh my, hope it heals well.
Don't feel silly about burning yourself on a bike muffler......its a given.
Don't believe me, ask anyone who has owned one more than a month, you will burn yourself.
NO, silly is when you take the baler apart to fix one of the guides/guards (for the um-teenth time
) and heat the mounting plate with a torch to beat it back into shape, then weld. Then, once done welding, you cut power to the torch, take it out of the clamp, and as it drops as it should (per Newton and Gravity) you forget and try to catch it with the hand that you were NOT wearing the welding glove on......now THATS silly.
and man did I pay for it.

Ouch man. Well this isn't the first time I burned myself either. Second time on a bike but other times by stupidity. I feel for ya.
