Hit n' run'd by a bird...
06/08/11 at 18:10:43
... rounding a curve today, the winds were up 20 or 30mph,.. and I felt a "Thwack!", on the side of my helmet, and saw a couple of feathers go poof...
I expected to see a beak stuck in the side of my helmet when I got off...

On the way back from our honeymoon camping, we were dong 75 one way and a hummingbird was doing 75 the other. Didn't even see it. Heard a thump and the inside of the van filled up with pin feathers. The entire body of the bird went through a 1/4 " vent except for the head. It would have taken me right off the bike, I think!
