Temp at 3:30 pm in the shade...

4:00pm,... my air conditioner blew a fuse...

... at 5:30pm,... as the sun gets lower, the temp gauge gets full sun for about 15 minutes...

... but ,.. it's a dry heat...

80 days since the last rain...Huh...

Looks like someone got mad at your thermometer and threw it across the yard I guess so it would heat up somewhere else.   Cool

When we were in Big Spring we heard they hadnt had any rain in 9 months,,& it sure looked like it.
& It was 106. Rowboat,, you spose that thermometer is readin higher than ambient temp because its on that wall? Would it be that hot on a stick in the yard?

Im wanting to get some hose & spraymist nozzles to string along the roof. Since we cut the trees down, this place gets HOT..

Nope,.. you can't see it in the pic, but it's actually on a bracket holding it about an inch away from the wall...  I can swivel it 90' from the wall and the temp stays the same... That part of the wall is shaded all day 'cept for a half hour or so in the evening...
Busy intersections here,.. full sun, black asphalt, engines idling,... can pass 140' degrees...

Bot, you guys in Tucson are always crying about being hot!
Come on up to Phoenix where 110 is a cold snap! If we really want to see hot, we could go to Yuma. It's so hot in Yuma that even the Devil wont go there...so we send the Marines Smiley
